One week cruise: The Northern region of the Ionian offers sailors a variety of cruising possibilities which might include the unspoiled Northeastern coast of Corfu, the Greek Mainland, including the Sivota Islands, Parga and the enchanting Islands of Paxos and Anti-Paxos.
Two week cruise: In addition to the Northern Ionian region one might also enter the Southern Ionian region via the Lefkas canal. This 'inland sea' is totally protected from the open sea and offers many stunning anchorages, including Meganisi, Lefkas, Cephalonia, Ithaca, as well as a number of surrounding islands. Beautiful bays offer unlimited opportunities for exploring, swimming and snorkeling. Anchor each night night at one of the many little fishing villages, or alternatively, in a secluded bay beneath a canopy of stars.
Flotillas (typically 9-12 yachts)
For the friendly sailor, joining a flotilla affords one the possibility of meeting others with similar sailing interests. Typical of the flotilla experience is a common morning briefing to detail weather conditions and plan the day's destination. During the day each boat sails freely, and at evening the group typically moors at a common port. Participants may take dinner together at a local restaurant or go off with their own crew.
